I never made it through book three. It’s a delightfully sensual book on the one hand and annoying on the other, so I have to rate it in the middle, but something pushes me to put something more.

We, the readers, are anchored to our own sense of discomfort, shock and taboo titillation through the conduit of Beauty. An erotic novel that actually has a story line! But I will finish the series because I suddenly care what happens to these people.

There is an occasion when slave girls are described as raping Prince Alexi, but while they’re all princesses–or as Rice styles it, Princesses–in their own countries, they don’t have the same standing as the fully-clothed courtiers of the novel.

El Rapto de La Bella Durmiente by A.N. Roquelaure (4 star ratings)

This point I can say is that I particularly liked as, having been accustomed to such readings, these images of measured violent sensuality did not bother me but, on the contrary, were very enjoyable to me and created in my mind a very sensual atmosphere. From the stables, to the kitchen of a common tavern.

Then Beauty proceeds to being dominated, spanked, used by the prince, more spanking, being used by total strangers male and femalemore spanking, lots of toys constantly being used, well you get the idea right? Technically, one could choose to leave the castle and return to their territory forsaken by the castle.

I need to see the cartoon ASAP! Ward which was the fifth book in her The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I like having a copy tucked away in the erotica section of my bookshelf to pull out every now and then for a titillating read.

I thought I’d revisit it, and it’s still quite impressive.

What that m I reread this recently for a local book group. So she becomes the pet of the castle, which really only earns her Want to Read saving….

And Beauty herself is quite enamored with him, even though she isn’t supposed to look at him or make notice of him at all. James gave us the story of Anastasia and Christian Grey.

My first book as an adult Book 1 to see the what, who, and where of it all and just how far this author will take you. First, I love Sleeping Beauty. You dyrmiente some way to resist, escape.

Some people get off to rape fantasies.

El Rapto de La Bella Durmiente

She lost most of the background and plot and even though there was a variety of positions and objects — she recycled quite a bit of the sex scenes.

Abduction, fear play, rape play, slavery, pony play My slave, my poor helpless slave Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree?

A decent read if you’re looking for something very, very different. Much easier to get through than Interview with the vampire which I found long and tiresome though inspiring toofrom which I gather that Ann Rice got better skilled at expressing her thoughts.

If you have any issues with portrayals of abuse or sexual violence these are not the books for you.

Beauty is awaken from her year sleep not by a kiss, but by sex from a prince. I’m enraptured by the enchanting novelty of Beauty and the court. But where’s the build up? I know it is supposed to take place in medieval times – but the way the story is told always reflects the time the book is written in – and this book is permeated with the era of Romancing the Stone and flipped up collars. Its the steamist thing ever written and to think its a trilogy is alarming cause I’m sure the first book is the tip no pun intended of the iceberg.

Paperback0 pages. I felt validated that I wasn’t the only one. But The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty is waving hot, filthy sex and my favorite fairy tale around and I tell you what- you’ve got yourself one intrigued Brunette.

Although I was completely absorbed by the detailed intricacy in which Anne Rice put into the story of Beauty and her situation. Even princes and princesses were considered as sex slaves. I just ek it four stars because the ending felt empty for me.

But if you enjoy erotic fantasy that’s overtly sexual but also somewhat romantic, you might find it a naughty pleasure. You will come to duurmiente that what most people do is not real bondage, it is just normal sex with a few ropes.

There is so much of it that it does become tedious in places, “spanking, again? This is how I saw it. Gets a bit samey after a while. I guess thats the fairy tale side of the story. The prince “claims” her completely, and whisks her off into a wor I read this book as part of a challenge or I should say I listened to it on audio I don’t normally read or listen to fairytales because I like some realism in the books I read.

They must submit to their masters etc. This is not a manual of the BDSM lifestyle. Roquelare and crafted a whole new kind of story. I think the possessiveness of the Prince is sort of a dated attitude.
