I’m not sure how much I agree with the social commentary though probably because it has been decades since the book has been written. The psychological abuse depicted here is pretty strong and colectionarjl ending is veeery creepy. After maybe the hundredth time picking this book up and putting it back on the top of that pile I thought, maybe I should just read it instead of just picking it up ever couple of weeks.
